The Troutman Police Department on Friday announced the arrests of 10 suspects on drug-related charges.
The unrelated arrests took place during incidents over the course of the last two weeks, police said in a series of press releases.
“These arrests help deter crime, since drug use is one of the leading contributing factors of crime in the Troutman and surrounding areas,” one of the releases said. Police added that they are determined to “provide a safe town for our residents, schools, churches, businesses and visitors that come to Troutman daily.”

The release said the officers could tell that the occupants of the car where under the influence.
